UPDATE: Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Scandal

Looks like the plot thickens for this story. Usually when a story like this breaks, the celebs deny, deny, deny. Not in this case. Both Kristen Stewart & Rupert Sanders have released the following statements to People Magazine (which means it is officially true!). Check out the statements below.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” Stewart said in a statement Wednesday.

Rupert Sanders also released a similar statement:

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” Sanders tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

I guess it’s safe to say the wedding planning for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson is over?

Wow, I’m surprised they admitted it right away. I guess that counts for something, but it’s still messed up. I don’t understand how people hurt the ones they love like this. They know they’re in the public eye, and I am not saying that if they weren’t it would be ok, but now Pattinson and Sanders’ family are publicly humiliated. It’s not right.
