Top 5 Ways to Reject Men

Imagine you are out on the town with your girlfriends and all of a sudden a man that you have no interest in starts giving you “the look”.  What’s a girl to do? If you find yourself in this situation, use the following rules to reject him:

1. Avoid eye contact at all costs. 
Do whatever it takes to not look directly in your pursuer’s eyes! Once you make eye contact, you are giving the signal that it’s OK if he approaches.

2. Act disinterested. 
If he does approach, act standoffish and continue to avoid eye contact.  Remember, you don’t care at all what he has to say.

3. Be Mean. 
Unfortunately these days, some men can’t take a hint. Many think that ‘No’ means ‘Yes’.  If you make some rude comments toward him, he will eventually get the hint, and hopefully for you, walk away.

If the above three rules have not worked, you may be dealing with a man who loves bitchy women.  Yes ladies, they didn’t write that book “Why men Love Bitches” for no reason. There are a lot of men out there who love that type. Unfortunately for you, this means that you may be forced to engage in conversation. If you find yourself in this situation, move on to rules 4 & 5.

4. Ask him what your name is.
A lot of times when alcohol is involved, people are forgetful.  So to check if he has actually been listening to you as he should be, ask him what your name is.  A simple enough question, right? Wrong. Chances are he already forgot and will not guess correctly.  He will be (and should be) humiliated and hang his head in shame as he walks away. Trust me this rule works! I just tested it out the other weekend to save my friend and the young gentleman was so embarrassed that he had to get up and walk away.

5. Be unavailable.
If all else fails, (in which case you are dealing with a highly annoying & persistent person) let him know you are 100% unavailable. You have a boyfriend, are dating someone, engaged, etc.  You are not interested in making this new guy a friend, an acquaintance, or associate.  This will make it crystal clear that he is NEVER getting your number.
