As the days get shorter and the wind gets stronger, all I want to do is snuggle up with a warm blanket. Since this is not entirely possible during the day commuting to work, I turn to these gorgeous Peruvian Alpaca infinity scarves from Cuyana to take place of that blanket when on the train and walking around the city.
Scarves are extremely versatile and layering is the key to staying warm and chic during the fall and winter seasons. Cuyana’s infinity scarf provides ‘feather light’ warmth and effortless style to any outfit.
Taking the cue from Cuyana’s co-founder’s look (pictured above) – I love how she pairs the charcoal infinity scarf with a dark tailored blazer and brightly colored pants making each part of her outfit pop
- An alternative to the dark blazer and colored pants is a dark top with a jewel-toned maxi skirt
- The black infinity scarf should be the staple in a winter wardrobe; I would keep it in my bag at all times and put it on whenever a chill hits; either on top of a casual shirt and jeans outfit or long-sleeved midi dress with tights
- We know the look: camel pea coat with a dark scarf; this time, flip it with a dark pea coat (love this one from Burberry) and the camel infinity scarf
- The light grey scarf exudes luxury and comfort and I would love to see it on top of a gorgeous dress on a night out (a lá Oscar De La Renta cardigan over gown look)
Additionally, Cuyana (meaning “to love” in Quechua, the Andean tribal language) donates a percentage of the profits to charity:water, a leading non-profit that provides clean water solutions around the globe.
Style, warmth, and an act of kindness, this is my kind of fashion.
