Talia Castellano: Inspirational Despite Cancer

It is through the eyes of babes that we find truth.  But it is through the eyes of Talia Castellano that we find hope, inspiration and admiration.  At the age of 12, Talia is already a makeup pro applying smokey eyes and daytime looks with ease.  Besides spending her summer vacation recording her popular makeup tips, she is also battling two forms of cancer.  Having beat cancer multiple times before, she continues to have a positive attitude and ongoing courage that is truly remarkable.

Talia’s YouTube channel originally began to chronicle her battles with cancer, revealing a struggle that is usually not seen.  After being diagnosed with cancer five years ago, a friend of Talia’s who was also battling cancer applied makeup to Talia for the first time.  After that, Talia fell in love with makeup and the positive self esteem it created.  She says, “Makeup is my wig” and believes when she receives stares from people on the street they are admiring her beauty, not her baldness.
