For 16 weeks, “The Hunger Games” sat at the number one spot on USA Today’s Bestseller list. This week, that has all changed as “Fifty Shades of Grey” written by E L James, moved in and claimed the throne – and might I add, rightfully so. Us Renegade Chicks are head over heels for this trilogy and we have not been able to put them down. Addicting? I would say so. If you haven’t purchased these books yet, do so now.
Ladies, this isn’t like the hysteria of Harry Potter or The Hunger Games, this is different because it’s specifically geared toward women. Many books are filled with the in between moments that have you wishing the author would just hurry up and get to the good stuff – not “Fifty Shades of Grey.” This book is ONLY the good stuff. I’m still working my way through the books, but I can tell you that all of my friends have been staying up late night reading Fifty Shades because…they.can’t.put.it.down. And once they do put it down, they don’t know what the hell they are going to read next. What does one do when there is nothing more to read concerning Christian and Anastasia? I guess just sit and wait with bated breath for the movies to be made.
If you haven’t taken our poll about who should play Christian Grey in the movie adaptation, vote now here!
