Fashion Essential: The Graphic T

Given the hustle of the fall, every once in a while I need something that is “off-duty” but still adds a bit of fashion to my look.  Enter the graphic t-shirt, a closet essential that doesn’t want to quit and finds a way to stay in style season after season.  Here are the three that are on my wish list this fall:

The usual advice is to style with black skinny bottoms, moto jacket, ankle booties, and call it a day, but here at Renegade Chicks we are anything but “usual.” Some “non-usual” ways to style your graphic t-shirt:

1. Power Suit: Rock a suit with a subtle graphic t-shirt underneath

2. Happy Hour: Change up the “usual” look with a pair of studded flats (lust vs must) and a cozy scarf while sitting under the heat lamp at Happy Hour

3. Weekend Style: Tuck a tighter fitting graphic t-shirt into your maxi skirt, top with a cardigan, easy clutch, and flats for a cool, yet chic, weekend look

4. Winter Whites: Who says we can’t wear white after Labor Day? I’m loving a graphic t-shirt on these skinny jeans or this glamorous feather skirt

5. Sequins: A bit of dazzle always makes the day better, make a graphic t-shirt shine by pairing with these sparklies: pencil skirt, skinny pants, blazer, or cardigan

To my East Coasters – I hope you got through the storm safely and can resume your usual Internet surfing / Renegade Chicks reading as soon as possible.  In the meantime, rock your graphic t-shirt with unofficial look #6: graphic t-shirt + sweat pants + cookie dough + wine.
