At the risk of sounding superficial, I absolutely love make-up. As a little girl, I adored putting on my mom’s red lipstick and puckering my lips at the mirror. The colors and compacts amazed me. I found make-up to be magical, with powers to transform ordinary women into extraordinary women with a simple lift of a mascara wand.

Nowadays, I understand that while make-up has the ability to change one’s face, it can be easily overdone and even unnecessary at times.
